The feeling of a New England town. Historical buildings however they decided to remove one plague due to “woke” pressure.

History, traditions and maintaining the green space, historic district downtown.

The friendliness and community values. I like that Worthington is a smaller community (compared to some of the other Columbus suburbs) and feels more tight knit because of it. I also like that, despite Worthingtons smaller size, it is a diverse place in terms of land use. With a historic downtown and surrounding neighborhoods, neighborhoods with smaller homes on the south side, and larger, newer homes on the north side. Plus the industry and commercial areas.

The strong sense of community, the farmers market, open green spaces, the native plants along the bike path, the schools, the walkability, the feeling of inclusivity at the businesses downtown.

How close we are to the river/bike path, it’s safe, downtown Worthington and the ability to walk there, the rec center, the schools, the Farmer’s Market, the city services, including how quickly even side/residential streets get plowed in the winter, how open and accepting the community as a whole is.

It is a community that is not inundated with apartments, and all the stupid developments like Dublin who wants to be like downtown Columbus. There is green space..parks..not congested with homes sitting on top of each other and high density apartments. It has a community feel. It has an active senior center and recreational center. We want to have trees and like them. We seem to know their value. Worthington has been inclusive of all people. We are environmentally conscious and are trying to protect our world around us.

What I treasure most about Worthington is that it is large enough to be able to provide the services I need when I need them, but small enough that I know who to call when I need those services.
