I treasure the libraries, the parks, the street trees, and the accessibility and availability of many amenities in Old Worthington. I appreciate that Worthington is a mix of old and new and that it doesn’t throw out the old while still pushes to remain current in its offerings and cultural consciousness. |

I love the walkability of Old Worthington. I really like that residents don’t seem to be “showy” regardless of their income level but very community minded. I have raised my children here and been so happy with the relationships they have formed. |

The focus on and prioritization of nature, green spaces, culture and history. Our family moved here from the suburbs and we love the slower pace, lighter traffic congestion and number of family friendly activities avaIlable. The schools my kids attend are small, friendly and diverse, all of which make for a better experience for my kids. The families around us value connection and serenity over money and status. We love the restaurants nearby, the farmer’s market, the Sunday Funday events and the laid back feeling of the Old Worthington neighborhood. |

I love the small town feel, with the convenient, easy access to other areas of Columbus. We love the number of playgrounds and parks. The community center (though parts starting to show age) is a wonderful amenity. I love that most of the neighborhoods have sidewalks and are pedestrian friendly. The farmers market is also great. |

My husband and I finally were able to snag a house (on Wilson Drive) 2.5 years ago, which lead to us getting our first puppy and having a baby. We treasure the historic downtown area and frequent: Joyas, Whitney House and La Chatalaine. I enjoy the walkability. On Tuesday for example (i’m a teacher on break), I was able to walk from my house to the post office, pop into story time at the library, grab a loaf of bread from La Chatalaine, and run into Fresh Thyme all on foot. I like the charm, the community and the events held downtown for young families. |

So many treasures. The location. The historic charm. The welcoming neighbors. The high taxes to keep poor people out. |

Walkability but that’s only because I live close to 161 and High Street, the neighborhoods, the school and library systems, proximity to highways 315, 71 and 270, parks and playgrounds, bike path. |

History-unique and original. For years Virginia McCormick provided Orange Johnson House tour and talk for folks becoming elected officials. Would like to have that effort resumed and become routine for all new Worthington employees. History as a cultural asset is being coOPTED by communities with BIGGER BUDGETS. Please help recruit an excellent dynamic speaker to share history. |
