It is welcoming to all, and generally less racism, sexism, other prejudice than some surrounding communities. The Sunday events downtown are great! |

Unique historic significance. Family oriented, residential community, with excellent schools, city services. Cultural and arts centers. It’s a walking community. Financially sound, supported well by residents. High desire in Worthington for homes, not apartments, because the demand is for houses – not just apartments – and realtors can support that. Friendly community. Growing diversity. Highly professional-educated community. Sufficient balance of business and commercialism. Recreational areas are nice but there are not enough of them. It would be a shame to destroy our historical footprint. USA Today called Worthington one of the top three small towns in the midwest. Let’s continue that tradition and not destroy it. |

Keep Worthington as it is. No need for additional housing more than 400-500 units in redevelopment areas. The historic charm and location are crucial. |

The walkability of the historic district and surrounding neighborhoods. The school district and newly renovated buildings. A progressive school board and city council (pride flags, Juneteenth flags, DEI policies upheld). The care of the public spaces (flower baskets, parks, city buildings). |

Worthington has a lot of the elements that other communities aspire to attain -a vibrant and walkable downtown, tight community, high quality amenities, and historic charm (among many other things). Community members are passionate about fostering an even better and brighter future. |

Worthington is a place people CHOOSE to live due to the amenities and suburban feel, while being close to downtown and centrally located. Access to parks, bike trails, and a walkable downtown are a feature. The farmer’s market and other events in downtown are highlights that raise Worthinton’s profile. The library is fantastic and a much used resource. |

I like the historic aspect of Worthington, the old homes, buildings, churches and graveyards, such as St. John’s Episcopal Church and the Masonic Lodge, and the way the town preserves the history. |
